About Mr. Tremblay
With over 18 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, Mr. Tremblay offers comprehensive expertise in forensic engineering, vehicular dynamics, product liability investigations, and accident reconstruction. He has developed advanced models to simulate commercial tractor trailer dynamics in adverse weather conditions and utilized three-dimensional computer simulations to analyze vehicle motion before, during, and after motor vehicle accidents. Mr. Tremblay’s expertise in forensic analysis ensures scientifically accurate reconstructions that help convey the events and effects of motor vehicle accidents.
Mr. Tremblay specializes in investigating product liability claims, including accidents involving large-scale industrial machinery and consumer-oriented products. His work focuses on identifying the cause and origin of component failures. He continuously researches vehicular dynamics, machine design, and innovative forensic methods, sharing his findings and insights with insurance professionals, attorneys, business owners, and fellow engineers.
Professional Background and Expertise
Mr. Tremblay’s diverse professional background includes experience in engineering design, product development, and project management. Outside of forensic engineering, he has worked extensively in robotics and automation for the pharmaceutical, life science, and drug discovery industries. His experience includes research and development (R&D), machine design, computer-aided design (CAD), engineering testing, and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).
With expertise in manufacturing processes, Mr. Tremblay is proficient in CNC machining, CNC water-jet cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), plasma cutting, and welding. As a project manager, he successfully oversaw the commissioning of multi-million-dollar test integrations deployed within medical device manufacturing and bio-pharmaceutical companies. His roles encompassed everything from engineering design to functional testing and system validation after installation.
Off-Road and Snow Sports Accident Reconstruction
An avid mountain biker for over 20 years, Mr. Tremblay’s professional experience extends to the analysis of off-road riding dynamics and bicyclist perception and reaction. His background as a former professional bicycle racer and snow sports enthusiast enhances his ability to reconstruct accidents in extreme conditions such as off-road riding and snowmobile accidents. He regularly participates in off-trail deep snow mountain riding and is an experienced backcountry skier and snowboarder, with advanced training in backcountry rescue and recovery techniques.
Mr. Tremblay's first-hand knowledge of winter sports and adverse weather conditions in Colorado's ski areas is crucial for applying advanced forensic methods in snow sports accident reconstruction. His insights into the unique challenges faced in winter conditions make him a valuable resource for analyzing incidents in these environments.
Public Speaking and Media Appearances
Mr. Tremblay has distinguished himself not only as a board-certified forensic engineer and expert in accident reconstruction, but also as a public speaker and media contributor. Over the years, he has delivered numerous public speaking engagements to audiences that include legal professionals, insurance experts, and engineering peers. In addition to live presentations, Mr. Tremblay has appeared as a guest on a variety of podcasts, lending his expert commentary to in-depth discussions on high-profile accidents and forensic investigations. Notably, he is a frequent contributor on Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, where he provides expert analysis as a forensic engineer and accident reconstructionist. Through these appearances, he bridges the gap between science and storytelling, helping audiences better understand the forensic underpinnings of tragic criminal matters.
Personal Interests and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Mr. Tremblay is passionate about community service. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, participating in low-income housing projects, and contributes to singletrack trail building projects for the United States Forest Service.
